Tens of thousands of revellers flock to The Citadel to witness the annual event every August.
Gozo’s capital goes all out to impress with street parades and colourful decorations as well as marching bands from across Malta to entertain the crowds.
Thousands of tourists are also treated to breathtaking fireworks displays from the bastions of The Citadel during the celebrations.
